Brush with Death on the Coastal Rim

So when we got to the ocean, we stopped on the side of the road to take pictures.

Unfortunately we did not see/slightly-ignore/read the 'Danger' sign and thus without knowing,
we acted like dumb tourists putting our lives in danger!!!

When I look at the pictures of Mike so close to the edge I cringe and think I could have lost him!

Notice the large crevasse behind him! So Scary!
Especially after reading about the accidents that have happened at our next stop!

This is were he would have fallen, certainly to a drowning death 

or at best, to a very long swim till I could get a rescue helicopter to him!

And we thought we were so cool braving the edge like that!!!!!

NOT!!!!
