Being with my Family and having a good RELAXING Sabbath day.

Minimal work with a very Simple Yummy Dinner 

* Pre-cooked rotisserie Chiken

* Grilled bell peppers with Feta & olive oil

* Pasta tossed with Pesto, Pine Nuts, Sun-dried Tomatoes & Feta Cheese.

(Most of all the products purchased at Costco)

Temple Service

Today was a special day!

Amelie was able to do a couple of baptism for her french ancestors at the Houston Temple.

I hope she learns to love entering this special place as much as I do.

There is so much peace felt there.

Enchanted Rock

This spring, we decided to go camping along with the scouts from our ward to Enchanted Rock.

We camped 2 nights.

we got there Thursday at night and put up our tents in the dark...

Mike had gone before with Emric a few years ago.

We had the P E R F E C T weather!

It was beautiful, I will let the pictures speak for themselves...

We had to pull out quite a few cactus needles from Chloe's paws... 

But she was delighted to be with us!

Her first night in the tent, she was a little nervous, but settled down just fine...

Up & Down The E-Rock

It's a H U G E rock!

My favorite was going up.

Why?

Because going down hurt my big toes pretty bad!

Hurt for weeks and I had 2 bruised toes for months!

Next time I will cut my nails!

Saying Goodbye for 18 months

Saying goodbye to our sweet Justine...

Off she goes on an 18 month mission for 

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints

We look forward to seeing pictures of her and receiving letters and emails!

And of course talking to her on the next 2 Mother's Day and 1 Christmas day.

She leaves with all our best wishes and love with her until we meet again!

We will miss her!

Grateful For Conference

This is my little set up Sunday for watching to the 4hs of General Conference.
Every 6 months I look forward to it!

Today, the weather was perfect.
The talks inspiring.

The only thing missing was my hubby who had to work all week-end!
We did watch the Saturday morning session together in a hotel he got down town.
He had to be at a site for work during the night.
So I joined him at work, we had dinner together and breakfast.
It's the only way I got to see him a bit this past week!
This month is very busy for him.
I complain a bit but I am so grateful he still has this job!
Going on 5 years now when he got contracted for 2.

But I do miss him...
