My precious puppy is 3 today!

I love my Dog!

She has improved my life in little and big ways.

Because of her:

* I walk and enjoy nature everyday like I often did growing up in France.

*I get to be closer to nature, sometimes too close, 

like when she decides to wear a nasty fragrance by rolling in some nasty dead stinky stuff! 

Of course, after she's all clean and bathed.

* She has helped me transition to a new place here in Texas, and not feel lonely.

* I am more sociable and actually talk to people I would never talk to without her.

I've even made friends because of her.

* Mike and I spend more time together.

* She is my little companion and makes me happy!

I'm so grateful for my Chloe.

She is an awesome dog!

Justine Turned 18!

Yep, our little Princess Justine turned 18 this month!!

How blessed we are to have her in our Family!

She had a real surprise Birthday Party!!!

Play Ball

Mike got a few tickets to the Astro BaseBall game for his Birthday from a friend.

So Being the good wife that I am, I sacrificed and went with him.

I did bring a book, last time I went to a ball game, years ago, I was bored... not much happened!

Anyhow, this time, we sat at a restaurant and ate a few appetizers, 

I only read a little cause it was kinda fun. 

The Houston Astro's won the game!

Oh and some guy made a wedding proposal on camera in the audience and she said yes!

Un ami a donne a Mike des tickets pour le match de Baseball pour son anniversaire.

Etant la bonne epouse que je suis, J'ai fait un grand sacrifice et suis allee avec lui.

La derniere fois que je suis aller a un match, j'ai pris un livre, 

c'etait enuiyant, pas grand chose se passait. 

Mais cette fois-ci, on c'est assi a un restaurant, on a manger.

Et je n'ai lu qu'un petit peu car c'etait pas mal.

Sweet Sixteen - Good Bye Party

Justine turned 16. She had her first date with Dad who took her to Chinese for lunch, he gave her a blue opal necklace he had bought in Australia. She also went out with friends to dinner and a movie. They actually walked out of the movie because it was too inappropriate and got their tickets reimbursement. Good for them!!!!

For her big Sweet 16 Party, we did it at our good friends the Johnson's house, the Party house! About 30 teens swam, jumped on the trampoline (no, not all at once!), played Dance revolution on the Wii, laugh and chatted in the hot tub, ate hamburgers, cotton candy, icies, and popcorn. It was a very fun Party! They are such a great bunch of awesome kids!

Jusitne a 16 ans. Elle a eu son premier "date" avec son papa qui l'a gate de Chinoix, il lui a offer un joli collier achete en Australie: un opal bleu. Elle est aussi sortie avec un group d'amis le soir, repa et cinema. Ils ne sont pas reste longtemps car le film etait inaporprie, ils se sont fait rembourse leur tickets. Bien pour eux!!!!

Pour sa Sweet 16 Party, elle a ete faite chez nos amis les Johnson. Environ 30 ados ont saute sur le trampoline (non, pas tous ensemble!), joue dance revolution sur le Wii, ont rigole et discute dans le hot tub, on mange des hamburgers, barb a papa, glace, et popcorn. C'etait une super Partie! Ils sont un group d' ados genial!

Today, I woke up with a dozen roses in my kitchen! What a man I have! Still romantic, after almost 19 years of marriage...

I got a lot of messages of BD wishes from tones of people (Thank you! for thinking of me!) I did the mom stuff and had lunch with Mike and my Mom at my favorite Indian Restaurant. I got a package in the mail of some neat inspiring stuff from Deseret book among it, my new favorite CD: "Nearer: A new collection of favorite hymns." :)

Ce matin, j'ai eu le plaisir de trouver une douzaine de rose rouge dans ma cuisine... Quel bon mec que j'ai; toujours romantic apres presque 19ans de marriage...
J'ai recu plein de mesages d'amis et de la famille (Merci, Merci!) J'ai fait ce que les mamans font pendant la journee et je suis allee rejoindre Mike pour un dejeuner a mon restaurant Indien prefere! J'ai aussi recu un colis de Deseret Book avec des truck bien sympa donc un nouveau Cd que j'adore!

Hier nous avons celebre l'anniversaire d'Amelie. Elle a eu 5 ans le 21! Quelle grande fille! Comme le temps passe vite!

We celebrated Amelie's Birthday yesterday! She turned 5 on the 21st! What a big girl she is! Time flies...

Awesome Birthday Party!

I've been very excited for my 40th birthday. I was not disappointed! Mike came home from work at 4:30! He took me to dinner and brought me home for a massage party! Mike has actually planned this present since June! He had a wonderful masseuse come to the house. She set up her equipment in Amelie's bedroom. Relaxing lavander scent was everywhere. He invited my 2 good girlfriends Sarah and Stephanie, my sister was supposed to be here too, but couldn't make it. I got over an hour deep massage! What an awesome man I have! It was so relaxing... It was the perfect gift! (OK, I did think that taking me to Bora Bora would be awesome too... :)

J'ai attendu mes 40ans avec impatience. Je n'ai pas ete decue. Mike est rentre du travail a 4h30 et m'a emmener au restaurant. Il m'a rammene chez nous pour une soiree de massage! Il a inviter mes 2 bonnes amies Sarah et Stephanie ainsi que Aude, mais elle n'a pas pu venir... Mike, en faite, a planifier ce cadeau depuis le mois de juin! Une masseuse super est venue s'installer dans la chambre d'Amelie. L'odeur relaxante de lavande etait partout dans la maison. J'ai eu un massage pendant plus d'une heure. Quel super homme que j'ai! C'etait si relaxant! c'etait le cadeau parfait! (Ok, un voyage a Bora Bora aurait ete super aussi! :)

Happy birthday Amelie!

Amelie's birthday was yesterday, the 21st of February! She is now 4! How time flies! She is such a joy and a breath of sweetness in our family (especialy next to her older siblings). She comes out saying the cutest and most surprising things. Like this morning, when I asked her what she wanted for breakfast she said: "Nothing, I don't want to eat, it will make me fat." I was so surprised, and thought: "She is only 4, I hope it is not the beginning of an eating disorder!"

Amelie a eu 4 ans hier le 21 fevrier. Que le temps passe vite, elle est un vrait plaisir dans notre famille (surtout a cote des ses grands freres et soeur). Et des fois elle nous sort des commentaires trop mimi et/ou surprenant. Comme ce matin, quand je lui ai demander ce qu'elle voulait manger pour le petit dejeuner, elle a dit: "Rien, je ne veux pas manger, cela va me rendre grosse." J'etait tres surprise et j'ai pense: "Elle n'a que 4 ans! J'espere que ce n'est pas le debut d'un probleme de boulemi ou autre!"
