Houston Fine Art Museum
Special exhibit:
Shadow Monsters
We walked in front of white screens and our shadows were projected into Monsters
that would appear on the wall above us.
Our very own Monster shadows!
It was really fun!
Papi loved the Pre-Colombian Art!
I loved the african Elephant head...
Food truck for Lunch across the street.
Papi had never seen such a huge copious TEXAS Hot Dog in his life!
Souvenir Photos
We only saw less than half of the exhibits.
A whole day can and should be spent there!
Thursdays are free and have extended hours till 9pm!
We had other plans that evening;
Like a Halloween/Chili Cook Out at our Church!

Mercer Park Ballade
Little Sunday afternoon walk with our friends to Mercer Botanical Park.
Included in the photos the dreaded Texan Fire Ants!!!!
I despise them!
Never find yourself standing by one of their ant hills!

Enchanted Rock
This spring, we decided to go camping along with the scouts from our ward to Enchanted Rock.
We camped 2 nights.
we got there Thursday at night and put up our tents in the dark...
Mike had gone before with Emric a few years ago.
We had the P E R F E C T weather!
It was beautiful, I will let the pictures speak for themselves...
Our Prickly Camp Grounds & Stunning mornings
Our prickly camp grounds.
Watch where you step!
We had to pull out quite a few cactus needles from Chloe's paws...
But she was delighted to be with us!
Her first night in the tent, she was a little nervous, but settled down just fine...
The mornings were divine...
