Week 14 Chinese Takeout Picnic & Farmers Tan!

Its transfer time again! And I am staying! I am very happy to be able to stay here and keep seeing and helping in Theresa and Stephanie's progression in the Gospel :). I will be getting a new companion though! Her name is Sister Ward!

One more piece of good news! I am officially no longer a "missionary in training!" Woohoo! I made it through training! I definitely had moments where I understood the whole "hating but loving your trainer." She definitely pushed be to be better and to be confident, which was so great to have. Sister Jeppson is off to be a Sister Training Leader on the west side of the mission! First time for her (shes been out a year) Going somewhere that is not Maryland! I am excited for her, she is going to be awesome. I actually want to be a sister training leader one day :) I think it will be so fun! Hard, I am sure, but fun.

This past week we were not able to meet much with our investigators. Stephanie had food poisoning, but we will meet with her on Wednesday! (figures crossed)
And Theresa and her 5 youngest kids were able to make it out to church again! Theresa is letting her 3 older boys decided if they want to be part of investigating the church, she they haven't come.
We were so happy to see her come. She is not feeling well either so she had to leave early.
Oh! Sister Jeppson and I also spoke in Church this Sunday! It was good. Wow do I not love speaking in church still. Haha but it wasnt bad because Sister Jeppson loves it and took enough time for the two of us!

Attached is a picture of us having a picnic with Chinese Takeout! With us is Sister Ford! She is less active only because she has had some battles with cancer and a tumor on her brain. She is a spiritual Power house! She is amazing. With us is also Jandell! She is great. She became a member 2 years ago. We had a great picnic and that (plus all the bike riding, not having a car for the past two weeks) contributed to my awesome farmers tan!

This week we also had a sister's conference! All the sisters in the mission got together and did the Maryland Heights Hike in Harpers Ferry. AKA one of the most beautiful places ever. It was so fun to get to know some of the other sisters in the mission and see my old friend in the mission! It was so much fun!

One last thing! Yesterday we street contacted this man named Ephraim and it was the coolest thing! He said he loves reading the Bible so we decided to start teaching him about he Book of Mormon. He stops us and asks if he can record us! So he pulls out his phone and we basically teach him the restoration! Haha reciting the first vision by memory and everything! He was a really neat guy and said we are welcome any time! So we gave him a BOM and gave his information to the Elders! He promised he was going to read it. So excited for him!

Sorry it is so long this week! I love you all! Thank you for your support :)
