What's been happening...

I have been so busy these last few weeks. I went to France for my grandma's funeral from the 19Th to the 27Th of November. It was so good to see my extended family the day of the funeral, even if the event was sad. It was good to feel of every one's love for such a wonderful mother, grandma, great grandma... She was truly a beautiful woman.
Of course I did the usual shopping with Nathalie, I took pictures, laughed with Esther and Co, and ate the best food in the world!
As I got home though I have been working a lot on photos for people and on looking for a new car. I also worked on decorating a room for the nativity display at our church.
After all this is behind me, and my Cx cards are in the mail, I feel I can relax a little as we prepare for the holidays, after I clean a well neglected house...

My room this year

J'etais bien occupee ces dernieres semaines depuis que je suis rentree de France.
Je suis vraiement contente d'etre allee a l'enterrement de ma grand mere Henrilette! C'etait bien de revoire toute la famille, oncles tantes, cousins cousines... et de ressentir l'amour que nous portons tous pour elle. C'etait une femme merveilleuse.
J'ai pu passer du temps avec la famille a Jean Claude. J'ai fait du shopping avec Nat, la reine du shopping! Jj'ai bien rigoler avec Corentin et Esther. J'ai fait des photos et sans oublier, j'ai manger la meilleure bouf du monde!
Mais en rentrant, j'avais plein de boulot. Des photos pour des clients, une voiture a acheter et une salle a decorer. Comme tous les ans je decore une piece pour une exhibition de creche a notre chapelle.
Maintenant que tout cela est passe et que mes cartes de noel sont envoyees, je peux me relaxer un peu, apres avoire donner un nettoyage a fond a la maison qui a bien souffert pendant ce temps!

Out with the Old! In with the New!

After 10 years of faithful service, my well loved and trusted Honda gave up the ghost! It was left behind in Philadelphia by Mike on thanksgiving week-end. I was very sad...
OK I know, mine did not look this good after my family was done with it! :0

Apres 10 ans de service fidele, ma honda bien aimee est morte. Elle est restee en Philadelphie quand Mike y est aller avec les enfants pour Thanksgiving. J'etais bien triste...
Ok, je sais elle n'avait plus ce look apres que notre famille en ai fini avec elle! :0

The new!

So here is The happy winner of 2 weeks of searching: The Toyota Highlander about the same size as my old one, not better gas millage though. My favorite feature: Heated front seats!!! That will definitely be used!

Alors voici ce qu'on a choisi apres 2 semaines de recherche. Le Toyota Highlander, a peux pres la meme taille que l'ancienne, mais qui consumme plus en essance. Mon gaget preferer: Des sieges de devant qui chauffe!!! Je vais bien utiliser cela!

Au revoire Memere

Sunday the 12Th of November My Grandma Henrillette passed away at age 98. I was sad that I would not see her any more in this life but so happy for her to move on and to finally be reunited with her sons and deceased husband Gaston. I have no doubt that I will see her again in the next life. She had a full life and is well loved...

Dimanche 16 Novembre Memere Henrillette nous a quiter a l'age de 98 ans, pour retrouver ses etres chers qui sont passes avant elle de l'autre cote de cette vie... Je suis triste de ne plus la voire quand je vais en France, mais je suis heureuse quand je l'imagine reunie avec Gaston, ses fils aini que toute sa famille qui l'attendait dans les cieux. Et je sais sans un doute que je la reverais moi aussi. Elle a eu une vie bien remplies et est bien aimee...
